Tamayorihime.com is the new home of my writing blog which, funnily enough, is a blog about my literary adventures and experiences as I attempt to write a novel through the awesome project that is NaNoWriMo.

I haven’t always loved writing as much as I do, when I was younger I preferred drawing to writing and it wasn’t until I got to secondary school that it started to catch my eye, wherein I started to be more interested in reading books, often managing to sneak a book or two into the shopping trolley at Morrisons without Dad noticing (unless he’s reading this, in which case OHSHI-). I think the main reason for this change is the teachers that I had for my English and English lit classes, they made reading and writing more interesting and, more to the point, fun. I started to realise that the written word was art too and was just as, if not more powerful than art on a canvas. :) So thank you, Mrs. O’Neill and Mr. Parker.
